Students' Board (CSB)
IOMC seeks motivated and dedicated young persons
for the virtual volunteer position of IOMC 2010
Conference Students Board (CSB). If you are a youth who
is interested in an interactive work in an online
environment, as well as working in an energetic and
innovative group, this could be your ideal placement. Duties &
Responsibilities:
• Promoting IOMC 2010 in their respected country among
students;
• Participate in CSB meetings and discussions online
(when required);
• Active participation on the IOMC 2010 website;
• Contributions to discussions and providing positive
feedbacks;
• Ongoing communication with Conference Managers;
• Guiding students and answering their enquiries;
• Enhancing students' participation and involvement in
IOMC;
• Helping with the review of students papers submitted
to IOMC within the respected field of interest;
• Promoting IOMC and its related initiatives and
programs;
• Providing monthly progress reports to the conference
manager
• Other duties, as necessary;
Qualifications/Skills/Characteristics Required:
• Interest or background in medical research (basic
knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, and related
concepts is required);
• Strong networking and communication skills;
• Fluency in English (excellent writing skills);
• Team-working skills;
• Respecting others ideas;
• Ability to work in a collaborative and virtual
context;

Kindly notice that ONLY successful
members of the CSB who can effectively undertake their
responsibilities and satisfy the expectations of the
conference managers will be provided with the Membership
Certificate for the IOMC 2010 Conference Students'
Board, after the conference. Moreover, joining the CSB
does not remove the necessity for the applicants to
register for IOMC 2010. So even the CSB members must
register for the conference. However, we are sure
joining IOMC 2010 Conference Students' Board is lots of
fun, experience and excitement!
