Biography

Dr Brendan Rich is Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychologist with many years of experience treating and assessing youth with emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties.He recieved Ph.D. from the University of Florida, completed his Predoctoral Internship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in the Mood and Anxiety Program. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of America, in the Department of Psychology.He has published over 40 articles in scientific journals and given over 100 presentations at national and international scientific conferences.

Research Interest

Dr Brendan Rich focus on mood disorders in childhood and adolescence, in particular anxiety disorders, autism, and ADHD. His current research explores two domains: 1) the effectiveness of a group therapy program for children with anxiety, ADHD, and autism, and; 2) the neural mechanisms of childhood mood disorders.
