Biography

Bruno Varriale graduated with honors in Biological Sciences in 1979. He graduated with honors in Chemistry in1982. Since 1984  he served at the School of Medicine of the University of Naples "Federico II" as Researcher . In 1985 he won the Prize of the Foundation "Battista Grassi" of the National Academy of Lincei. 

Research Interest

Mechanisms of smooth muscle relaxation, in particular the role GABAA channels may play in modulating airway smooth muscle and uterine smooth muscle relaxation.
