Professor of higher education at the State University of Goiás, he was a scholarship holder of the Alban Program of the European Union and studied for a doctorate at the Complutense University of Madrid - Spain, developing his research on the modulation of quorum sensing in bacterial biofilms at the Medical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Unit of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation.
