Dr. Martin Friedlander is the professor in the department of Cell and Molecular Biology, The Scripps Research Institute, North Torrey Pines Road La Jolla, CA 92037, USA. Our laboratory is studying (1) the mechanism whereby proteins are asymmetrically integrated into cell membranes and (2) the role of integrins and integrin antagonists in ocular angiogenesis.
