Saurabh Sanon

Dr. Sanon is a Mayo Clinic fellowship-trained and board certified interventional cardiologist.
Dr. Sanon earned his medical degree at Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to complete a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., followed by a dedicated fellowship in advanced structural interventional cardiology also at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
He is the author of more than 25 manuscripts, book chapters and abstracts. In addition to percutaneous coronary intervention, his special interest is structural heart interventions, such as TAVR, paravalvular leak repair, balloon valvuloplasty, percutaneous mitral valve repair (MitraClip®) and implantation and other similar therapies.
