Dr. Yu-Long Li, MD, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and a courtesy assistant professor in the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology.He obtained his Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Physiology, M.S. in Cardiovascular Pharmacology, and M.D. from Hebei Medical University, Hebei, China. After a brief academic stint (Associate Professor) at Hebei Medical University, Dr. Li did his postdoctoral work at Oita Medical University, Hasama, Oita, Japan, and Department of Physiology & Biophysics, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE, USA in the laboratory of Dr. Harold Schultz, Ph.D.. He joined the Department of Emergency in 2007. An author/co-author of over 70 papers and abstracts, Dr. Li is currently a recipient of the Scientist Development Grant from the American Heart Association.
