Advances in gene therapy and regenerative medicine offer promising avenues for innovative treatments targeting the underlying pathophysiology of diabetes. This article explores the latest developments in gene therapy approaches, including insulin gene delivery, pancreatic beta-cell regeneration, and stem cell therapies.
