Biography

Dr. Nohe received her PhD in Chemistry in 2000 at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. After her post-doc at the University of western Ontario, Dr Nohe received a faculty position in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maine. Currently she is working as Asssistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on finding new therapeutics for skeletal disorders and breast cancer. Additionally she is interested in determining the molecular mechanisms leading to these diseases. She utilizes state of the art real time imaging Spectroscopy and drug delivery methods, one of them being drug targeting using QuantumDots.
