Basel Khraiwesh

Dr. Basel Khraiwesh currently is working at Plant Stress Genomic and Technology Research Center-KAUST University. He worked previously at VIB Department of Plant Systems Biology-Ghent University, Belgium. He has authored several journal articles and has written chapters in several scientific books. He served also as a reviewer of peer reviewed journals in the area of Plant MicroRNAs and Plant Molecular Biology. Dr. Khraiwesh earned a bachelor’s in Plant Production and Protection from An-Najah National University in 1999, a master’s in Horticulture and Plant Protection from The University of Jordan in 2002, and doctorate in Plant Biotechnology from University of Freiburg, Germany in 2009.
Dr. Basel Khraiwesh Research intests includes MicroRNA, Small RNA and Epigenetics, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Plant Science, Plant Molecular Biology, Responses of plant to abiotic stresses, Postharvest biology.
