Biography

Aspects of endothelial dysfunction in chronic kidney diseases have been the issue of my research since 1998. One of her favorite topic is the effect of hemodialysis procedure, especially the administration of different heparins, on endothelial derived markers such as TF / TFPI regulation of extrinsic blood coagulation, activin A / follistatin / hepatocyte growth factor pleiotropic system as well as on some growth factors playing a crucial role in cell proliferation. All the above markers take part in the pathogenesis of cardio-vascular complications in patients with chronic renal failure.
