Biography

Dr. Christos A. Skouteris is a graduate of the University of Athens School of Dentistry. He completed a three-year training program in Oral Pathology at the same University that led to a PhD degree and a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine - Presbyterian University Hospital in the USA. He served as Teaching Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, as Visiting Assistant Professor with the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, as Visiting Professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Dentistry, Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, as Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Crete School of Medicine, and as Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Athens School of Dentistry. Dr. Skouteris' clinical interests include oncologic, TMJ, orthognathic, trauma, secondary alveolar cleft repair, and minimally invasive cosmetic maxillofacial surgery.
