Editor-in-Chief
Associate Professor, Department of Biology
University of Kentucky, USA

Biography

He obtained a BA at Vanderbilt University in Chemistry,a MS at Murray State University in Chemistry, and a PhD at Texas A&M University in Veterinary Sciences/Molecular Biology. As a post-doctoral fellow at NIH, He studied under Lothar Hennighausen, a world-renowned mammary gland biologist. His experiences and qualifications gave him a niche from training in three separate fields: 1) programmed cell death, 2) transgenic and embryonic stem cell technologies, and 3) reproduction. His research program at the University of Kentucky is focused on the effects of programmed cell death in reproductive tissues using transgenic, knockout, and tissue-specific knockout mouse models within the mammary gland, testis, and ovary.

Research Interest
