Biography

Dr. Urabe, M.D., Ph.D., graduated from Nara Medical University. He is a physician andneurologist. The neurologists examine a lot of incurable disease patients. There are still many diseases without an effective cure. His study life started in 2004.Their laboratory in Shiga University of Medical Science, Shiga, Japan, studies bone marrow cells and diabetes. He hasrecently reported bone barrow derived cells (BMDCs) regulate feeding behavior in the hypothalamus (2013). Andnow he studies diabetic neuropathy and BMDCs in Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA. His studies have shown thatthe therapy with BMDCs is one of promising therapies. He will study hard to help the therapy with BMDCs benefit more patients with serious and incurable disease around the world.
