Biography

Juan Carlos Molina, Ph.D. He obtained his doctoral degree in Psychology from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. His postdoctoral training took place at Binghamton University, New York where he has continued to scientifically cooperate with the Center of Developmental Psychobiology, particularly with Dr. Norman Spear, until present.  He is now a member of the National Council of Scientific Research of Argentina (CONICET), Director of the Instituto de Investigación Médica Mercedes y Martín Ferreyra (institution devoted to neuroscientific research) and Professor of Experimental Biology, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. His scientific production has been conducted under the framework of different national and international grants and published in different international journals devoted to fields such as alcoholism, psychopharmacology, learning and memory, teratology , development and neurosciences.\

Research Interest

The scientific emphasis of the research is centered in the effects and mechanisms of early (fetal, infantile or adolescent) alcohol exposure upon later recognition, discrimination and preference patterns of the drug.
