Dr. Lavjay Butani is a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of California Davis Medical Center, where he is also the co-director of the Pediatrics Clerkship. Dr Butani is an active member on the Research & Scholarship task force and also the Curriculum task force of COMSEP and is a member of the Step II test writing committee for Pediatrics at the NBME. He has presented several workshops on educational themes at national meetings and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Academic Medicine from the University of Southern California.
