He Attends Medical Officers Support course at the Naval Academy in Livorno. He is subsequently put in charge of the Military Hospital in La Maddalena (SS) as Medical Officer responsible for General Medicine and First Aid and was a member of the Medical Commission. In November he is transferred to the ER of the Military Navy of Cagliari heading the Health Service Department as Medical Officer responsible for the Decompression Chamber of the Military Navy and is appointed Officer Medic in Psychology.
