Yong X Wang is Head of Kingrsquo′s Lab and Professor of Biotechnology and Pharmacology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Pharmacy, Shanghai, China. He received a PhD in Pharmacology from The University of British Columbia, Canada in 1994 followed by postdoctoral training in the field of Clinical Pharmacology at Stanford University, USA. He completed his B.Sc in Medicine from Anhui Medical University. China, in 1982. He has published more than 50 peer reviewed papers and reviews in reputed journals as well as several patents. He is frequently invited to present at domestic and international scientific conferences and serves on a number of professional society committees and editorial boards of reputed journals.
Translational Pharmacology in the areas of pain, cancers and metabolic diseases including diabetes and obesity, discovery and development of novel drugs for the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus, DNA methylation gene silencing technology.
