Biography

Dr. Ze-hua Liu is a research scientist in Department of Urban Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka City University, Japan. He has received his B.S (Chemical Engineering, 1997-2001) from Xiangtan University, China, M.S (Biochemical Engineering, 2001-2004) from Beijing University of Chemical Engineering, China, and Ph.D (Urban Engineering, 2007.4-2010.3) from Osaka City University, Japan. For his excellent research during the doctoral study, he has been awarded as the 2009 National Award for Outstanding Self-financed Chinese Students Study Abroad by China Scholarship Council, for which no more than 500 Chinese students all over the world were selected at this year. He has published more than twenty peer-reviewed papers, among which two articles has been listed as the top 25 hottest articles in Science of the total environment. He is reviewers for several peer reviewed journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, and Journal of Women’s Health.

Research Interest

Urinary estrogens/androgens/phytoestrogens. Hormone level and health. Biomonitoring such as estrogen (androgen)-receptor binding assay. Monitoring of micropollutants Environmental pollution.
