Announcement

Throughout the history, changing climate on earth has been observed. Due to these climate changes, earth’s orbit has been varied resulting in the variation in the amount of solar energy that our planet receives. The current trend of climate change is particularly focused because it is likely to be the consequence of human activities exploiting the nature. The rapid warming of the earth is the major concern of this century that needs to be resolved anyhow. Otherwise, we all are aware about the consequences and threats to the life that would happen in upcoming years.

Considering the current scenario, Journal of Climatology & Weather Forecasting is going to release special issue on the topic “Trends of Climate Change”. The aim of this issue is to disseminate the information about rapid climate changing sequels, the causes and reasons, parameters affecting climate change, different regions affected primarily due the sudden climatic variations and the consequences. Under the scope of special issue, the journal invites the researchers to share their research expertise and opinion. We would like to request the authors to come up with the latest articles discussing about the above mentioned topic.

This is of immense delectation to mention that Dr. Abdullah- Al- Fahad, Ph.D., NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, is the executive editor for this special issue. He was graduated with Ph.D. in climate Dynamics from George Mason University. His current research at NASA includes climate model development, high resolution climate modelling, and annual to decadal climate prediction.

The manuscripts for special issue can be submitted online through journal website: Online Submission System. Although the journal welcomes the articles throughout the year as we have monthly issue release. But the closing date of manuscript submission for the special issue is May 30, 2021. We appeal the eminent researchers to register their updated ideas/research in the scope of “Trends of Climate Change”.
