Abstract :

Osteochondroma, also known as exostosis, is the most common benign tumour of bone. Osteochondromata are typically asymptomatic and rarely provoke vascular complications. Only 106 reported cases of vascular complications due to exostosis were reported. Pseudoaneurysm of the popliteal artery is the most commonly reported vascular complication due to exostosis. Other vascular complications of exostosis include arterial thrombosis, venous thrombosis, arteriovenous fistulae and vascular compression. We report two cases of psuedoaneurysm of common femoral artery and superficial femoral artery, due to local erosion in patients with multiple exostoses. Key words: Exostosis, Pseudoaneurysm, Femoral artery.
