Abstract :

This time I was the patient, First I’ve met my doctor, We’ve discussed as a patient my worries and he as a doctor gave me the pre-operative preparation session discussing the differences between the FLACs and normal PHACO surgery, discussed IOL options and I went for the monofocal IOL and discussed the possibility of complications then we went for the surgery part under TA while I was talking to the doctor while operating and didn’t experience any significant discomfort, Post-operative I put topical corticosteroids and antibiotics every 2 hours and I managed to watch football match in Hotel Lobby with assistance of dark glasses same night, Next day the eye was very comfortable, no pain or discomfort at all. I was reassured and pleased to be seen next morning by my doctor who has thoroughly told me about postoperative care, My flight was afternoon and next morning I was back to work as usual duty times and surgeries.
