    Knowledge and Attitude of General Public towards Vitiligo: A Cross-Sectional Survey in Kashmir

    Vitiligo, a chronic skin condition characterized by depigmented patches, has profound psychological and social implications for those affected. This cross-sectional survey aims to assess the knowledge and attitudes of the general public towards vitiligo in the Kashmir region. Despite its relatively high prevalence, misconceptions and stigma surrounding the disease persist, impacting the quality of life of individuals with vitiligo. The study employed a structured questionnaire, administered to a representative sample of the population in Kashmir. The questionnaire included sections on demographic information, knowledge about vitiligo, sources of information, and attitudes towards individuals with the condition.
