UTPAL KUMAR DE, Professor of Economics, started his academic career at the Tripura University as as lecturer of in Department of Analytical & Applied Economics. He holds several degrees:M. Sc., M. Phil, Ph. D. in Economics (University of Burdwan).National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC, Jan. 1993. Currently he is a Professor in North-Eastern Hill University where he teaches Econometrics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Microeconomics, Agricultural Economics, Development Economics. Dr. De has published over 40 scientific papers.
