Abstract :

Beauty is the essence of life. Beauty plays a major role in this modern era. Conscious for beauty is increasing and gaining more importance among people now days. Hair is one among which adds beauty to a person. Hair loss is more now days among all age groups. Hair loss not only represents loss of beauty but also causes depression and inferiority complex. If such type of hair loss is seen from childhood it will be embarrassing. Partial loss of hair on the scalp is referred to as alopecia areata; complete loss is referred alopecia totalis. Procedure: Hair loss patients were randomly selected from in-patient and out-patients departments of S.V Ayurvedic College. An ayurvedic formulation is applied over hair loss areas until hair sprouts are noticed. Results: Trials were done over patients and it is encouraging and satisfactory.

Biography :

Nagalakshmi has completed under graduation from S.V Ayurvedic College Tirupathi at the age 24. Presently she is doing her post graduation from the same university. She is a gold medalist and was awarded by JIWAKA AWARD in the year 2009 for her excellent performance at studies. She presented papers in Kerala and many other places.
