Abstract :

A dermatologic surgery performed to correct scalp hair deficiencies from hormonal changes, burn or injuries. Methods of Hair transplantation include 1) FUHT 2) FUSE 3) BHT. It is based on the principle of donor dominance. Even in the most extreme cases of baldness (NW-7), a horse shoe shaped fringe of hair remains. This donor fringe is insensitive to the balding process and DHT, thus form the basis of donor area from where the transplantation can be done. FUSE is the stitchless, minimally invasive version of hair transplantation. In comparison, the strip FUT method involves linear cutting, suturing and its resultant pain and scarring. No stitches, no suture scarring and less painful. Donor hair can also be extracted from the beard and body areas, thus augmenting the donor supply for people with extensive hair loss. Modern all follicular unit hair transplants make it possible to give virtually undetectable results and at the same time create a dramatic aesthetic improvement in the appearance of a person losing hair.

Biography :

Arvind Poswal completed his medical studies from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (India). Over the past almost 14 years, he has developed the field of hair transplant, whether it is techniques, instrumentation or training. He is also the inventor of the stitchless FUSE technique that has enabled numerous recent advances in the field of modern hair transplants. Arvind Poswal is a member of various prestigious societies of the world. He is the member of ESHRS, ISHRS, IPHA, SHTS, NSCP, ISCC, WTS, FUE Europe Society and AHRS. Arvind Poswal is the recipient of various prestigious Awards. He has developed goodwill internationally over the years and is considered among the worlds top few doctors in the field of hair transplant.
