Scientific Tracks Abstracts: Reconstr Surg Anaplastol
Aim: Reaching clinical improvement in simple effective addition to the management of diabetic foot patients (water intake must be in 30 ml / kg patient weight ) this results in a very high rate of clinical improvement and reaching a very much higher rate of remission in short duration guided by clinical signs ankle/ brachial index positively improved. Patients and Methods: Eighty-four diabetic patients presented with diabetic foot ulcers or gangrenous parts of their foot unior bilaterally injured associations with massive soft tissue infections which is the main complain for all patients. They are chosen from (Azadi Teaching Hospital Burn and Recon Intelligent Diabetic Foot Care with high clinical improvement structive Surgery Department clinic) in Kirkuk governorate / Iraq. The age of patients in range between (38- 85 years). According to the clinical examination diagnosed, patients were classified to high risk of ischemia and moderate risk according to the ABI measuring at attendance records. Results: A very much promising results at the second attendance and the results after 3 weeks duration are obviously high rate remission more than half patients showed improvement reaching out the normal rates the other remaining showed significant improvements reaching the normal rates after six weeks. Conclusion: We advise additional item in management of diabetic foot patients and to be the main step toward improvement of patient’s health beside their foot management which meets general conditions improvement.
Qutaiba Abdullah Aldoori had completed his medical college at 1991, trained in military hospital hammd shihab specialize hospital department of burns and Reconstructive Surgery until 1999 then post graduated from Suleimanyia medical college burn and Reconstructive Surgery Department high diploma in burn surgery then hired as burn and Reconstructive surgeon in Azadi Teaching Hospital Burn unit since 2011 till now in kirkuk City have more than three publications in burn management and care in local medical colleges journals.
