Kevin M. Beaver, PhD is a professor in the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University and a visiting distinguished professor in the Center for Social and Humanities Research at King Abdulaziz University. His research focuses on the biosocial underpinnings to antisocial behaviors across the life course. He has published more than 200 articles and 15 books and is consistently rated as one of the two most productive criminologists in the world. His studies are routinely featured in leading media outlets and his research led to the creation of three documentaries examining the genetic basis to violence.
