He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Vale do Sapucaí (1997) and a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Vale do Paraíba (2003) and a PhD in biosciences from the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP (2014). He is a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology - Southern Minas Gerais. Has experience in the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹natural products chemistry, plant biochemistry, plant biology and microbiology. It acts mainly in bioprospecting of potentially antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory natural products, as well as in the isolation and elucidation of organic compounds.
